The SSCOR VX-2 is a lightweight, powerful and "firefighter" tough, battery powered suction unit that acts as both a portable and onboard suction! The VX-2 is powerful enough to meet state, national and international standards for portable suction equipment (>30 lpm airflow and >525mmHg negative pressure).

Mount the VX-2 to the action wall to use as an onboard suction device.  When removed from its bracket, it is a portable suction device used outside the vehicle! 

Mount the VX-2 or release the VX-2 from the SAE J3043 bracket with one hand!  Once on the bracket, the VX-2 is automatically connected to charging and running power.

The outward facing control panel indicates vacuum level, battery condition, connection to power and lets the user know the pump is running.  Charging is controlled for maximum battery life and the PC board protects the battery from deep discharge. 

The variable regulator allows the negative pressure to be adjusted quickly between <50 to >525mmHg with a quarter turn of the knob to provide reduced vacuum for tracheal and pediatric procedures as well as vacuum less than 50mmHg for neonates.

NOTE:  The VX-2 is designed for battery operation or operation from vehicle power.  The AC charger provided with the VX-2 is for charging purposes only and it will not power the VX-2.

NOTE: If you purchase a SSCOR VX-2 without the charging/retention bracket you cannot retrofit the device to accommodate the bracket at a later date.
