Buying Options: Preventative Maintenance

Preventive maintenance (PM) on radiographic systems, including standard RAD, tomosynthesis (Tomo), and fluoroscopy (Fluoro) units, will be performed per OEM specifications. This ensures the equipment operates safely, meets regulatory standards, and delivers consistent image quality.

Below are typical checks and calibrations that may be included:
• Mechanical inspection of the table, tube stand, and movement systems
• Alignment verification of the X-ray tube, collimator, and detector
• Testing and calibration of exposure timers and dose output
• Inspection and verification of automatic exposure control (AEC) and fluoroscopic dose rates
• Evaluation of image quality, including contrast, resolution, and artifacts
• Checking system interlocks and safety features
• Software and firmware version checks, if applicable
• Review of warning indicators and system error logs

Any adjustments or calibrations needed to maintain OEM performance standards will be completed during this visit.
