Preventive maintenance (PM) on X-ray room systems will be performed in accordance with OEM specifications. This ensures safe operation, consistent image quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Below are typical checks and calibrations that may be included:
• Mechanical inspection of the tube stand, wall stand, and table for smooth and secure movement
• Verification of X-ray tube alignment with the collimator and detector
• Testing of exposure timers, kVp and mA settings, and output consistency
• Evaluation of automatic exposure control (AEC) functionality and calibration
• Checking image quality parameters, including contrast, sharpness, and uniformity
• Inspecting system interlocks, warning indicators, and safety features
• Reviewing system software versions and error logs

Any adjustments or calibrations required to maintain OEM performance standards will be completed during this visit.
