The M2601A Telemetry system transmitter from Philips continuously relays ECG and SpO2 measurements to the IntelliVue Information Center for analysis, display, and storage. The transmitter offers both 3-lead and 5-lead capability and can run on easily replaceable AA batteries. It also has audio feedback for tasks such as "power on" and SpO2 spot check. Upgraded versions have 12-lead ECG monitoring and are lightweight and comfortable for patients.
