ConMed Linvatec 10.0 mm 45° HD Autoclavable Laparoscope Refurbished
The ConMed Linvatec is a 10.0 mm 45-degree rod-lens laparoscope used for laparoscopy. It relays a direct optical image of the abdominal or pelvic cavity to a coupled camera head for display on a surgical monitor.
Rigid rod-lens endoscopes carry the image along a train of glass rod lenses rather than a fiber bundle, which transmits more light and resolves finer detail than older thin-lens or fiberoptic designs. The scope has no light source or sensor of its own: it couples to a separate camera head at the eyepiece and draws illumination from a light cable connected at the light post, and it is introduced through a trocar cannula. Its forward-oblique optic gives a wider angular offset that reaches further around anatomy and instruments without moving the shaft. A sealed, autoclavable construction lets the scope be steam-sterilized between cases instead of being restricted to chemical soak. Instruments of this class are handled by general, gynecologic, urologic, and bariatric surgeons.
Key Features
- 45-degree viewing angle - carries a wider offset to see further around anatomy and instruments.
- 10.0 mm diameter - a full-diameter shaft that maximizes light throughput and image size through a standard large port.
- Light-post illumination - accepts a fiberoptic light cable so illumination scales with the connected light source.
- high-definition camera compatibility - couples to high-definition camera heads so resolution tracks the connected imaging chain.
- Autoclavable - tolerates steam sterilization, fitting a same-day turnover reprocessing workflow.
Ideal For
- Hospital and ambulatory surgical operating rooms
- General and gynecologic laparoscopic surgery
- Facilities running tower-based HD or 4K camera systems
- Use by general, gynecologic, urologic, and bariatric surgeons
