The Rice Lake 260-10-1 Bariatric Handrail Scale is designed to provide accurate weight measurements for patients requiring additional support and safety. ​ It features advanced movement compensation technology to eliminate errors caused by patient movement, and includes a handrail for stability. ​ The scale is equipped with a large LCD display, an antimicrobial keypad, and a nonslip platform. ​ It is portable, thanks to two heavy-duty rear wheels, and can be powered by six AA batteries or an optional AC adapter. ​ The scale also offers a unit of measure toggle or locking, tare function, hold function, BMI calculation, and is factory calibrated. ​ An optional height rod can be installed on-site for capturing height measurements. ​
